Steven and Jessica are high school sweethearts that are the proud parents of 4 children. They are deeply rooted (pun intended) in their faith and strive to show God's love to all, including their customers.
History of Ellis Tree Care
Charles Ellis started Ellis Tree Care in 1968. He learned how to perform tree maintenance after World War II from the Civilian Conservation Corps camps. These camps were a part of a program established by the US government during the Great Depression in the 1930s and provided employment for young men. Simultaneously addressing environmental, and conservation needs across the country.
Randy, one of five children born to Charles, inherited his father's love of nature. He knew he wanted to follow his dad's footsteps, and eventually took over in the 1980s. The business continued to thrive and serve the Nashville community through his retirement in 2019.
During this time, Randy's son, Steven, was training to be the third-generation owner. Steven realized early on that having a business of almost 50 years was something to be proud of and did not want to let that go with Randy's retirement. He took the reins and continues to serve middle TN today.
Employees
All employees are trained in their field and in safety. Please note, we are licensed and insured and want to protect your property and also the safety of our employees. We use trained and experienced tree climbers that have access to bucket trucks to aid in their job performance. A crane truck is also used to help in lowering large limbs and to haul away large tree trunks. This speeds up the job and also aids in protection of properties. We clean up and haul away all debris that we produce or we can leave the firewood or wood chips on site if desired. It is our desire to leave you property clean and free of any debris that we may have created. Our equipment consists of bucket trucks, chipper trucks, a crane and stump grinders.
